Nanette Barragán - Representative from California's 44th District
Nanette Barragán Representative from California's 44th District

Day 2 of exposing our leaders who hold us down - your next assignment is to support the opponent of Nanette Barragán.
Yesterday I asked you to block the candidate, but I'm also a strong believer in sunlight being the best disinfectant, and some commenters felt the same. So today, your assignment is different. Today I am asking that you follow this person's opponent.
Nanette’s opponent is Roger Groh. We do not know much about Roger yet, and while I would love to be able to provide you with a deeper analysis, I had to make a post for today and this is the one I am going with. So, I want to be clear that we are unable to endorse him as a viable candidate. If you have information to share about Roger in the comments, share them. If he's also a bad dude, let's shine that sunlight right on him as well.
We do believe that every candidate deserves an equal playing field. Ways to help are to donate to Nanette’s opponent’s campaign so both candidates are forced to win voters with their qualifications, not money. If you are unable to donate money, or just don't feel comfortable supporting any candidate monetarily, that’s not a problem! There are more options, keep reading.
Roger will still have to prove himself as a leader and win the votes on his own accord. But if we band together we may be able to level the playing field by matching the donation that Rep Barragán has received from AIPAC.
If you are in California's 44th District, you will be directly impacted by this election. (I'm looking at you, Carson, Compton, East Compton, East Rancho Dominguez, Lakewood, Lynwood, North Long Beach, San Pedro, South Gate, Watts, Walnut Park, West Rancho Dominguez, Willowbrook, and Wilmington)
I will never tell you who to vote for, but I will provide you with information you can use to educate yourself and make a decision on your own.
If Nanette is going to win,
we should make her work for it.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
WITHOUT GIVING MONEY:
If you can’t help by giving money, or if you go learn about the opponent and don't want to support them monetarily, that is absolutely fine. I can totally understand that! You can still help by showering her opponent in attention! Follow, click links, watch videos, share their content if you enjoy it, talk about them on your channel. If you're local, go to his events. Read his website. Educate yourself on his platform. Share our tiktok videos. Find all of the links you need below!
And, as always, if you find questionable content, share that! We want to shine a light onto how corrupt this government is. If every candidate is a bad guy, then how are we supposed to be working to make the future better?
If we make the same effort to call out our leaders as we do to call out celebrities, some day we could make real change.
We are calling you to action. Just one a day. Easy peasy. Join the movement.
We are posting a blog every day with more information about each candidate.

IF YOU ARE OR KNOW OF ANY GOOD CANDIDATES
ON ANY LEVEL, LOCAL OR FEDERAL:
I am just trying to figure this out alongside the rest of you. I don’t know every candidate who exists, so if you know of an amazing candidate who has never taken funds from AIPAC, please tell me about them! If you can find me candidates who have public and active tiktok channels, they will be prioritized. Right now, I have to find them, which can take a long time. If you know of an amazing (preferably independent) candidate who we should lift up over a terrible one, I’m open to suggestions!
